How we evolved
Celtic Crystal Dragons evolved from the founder, Sue Williams’ love of stones and crystals. This mixed with an interest in mythical beasts, especially dragons…..well who doesn’t love ‘Toothless’… led to the birth of ‘Crystal Guardians’ our selection of dragons and other mythical ‘guardians’.
Mostly we match our crystals and dragons without issue but sometimes when we put the dragon with the stone, the dragon doesn’t want that particular stone and it just doesn’t work! So we then try it on other stones or crystals until we find the one ‘it’ wants. They really do have a life of their own and they do say crystals ‘call to you’…..we often find that to be the case!
Sue Williams
Sue is the ‘Dragon Lady’! As an experienced costume designer for TV and theatre, she has a love of colour, texture and style; all things tactile. Sue is an experienced seamstress and jewellery maker with complimentary skills in millinery, prop making and furniture renovation…a good arty and crafty skillset which allows her to produce these lovely little creatures. Just look at some of those faces!
Kath Williams
Kath is an experienced graphic designer and artist who enjoys all things ‘arty’. She finds making the wings very therapeutic and relaxing and a challenge to come up with different designs for specific dragons. Aside from the wings Kath has also started to handcraft starfishes and seahorses for our fossils and beach stones range.
